Compassion Canada is proud to support the 3rd annual JUNOfest Christian Music Showcase on Friday, March 15th. This unique night of music and worship will feature performances by 2019 JUNO Award nominees Brian Doerksen and Warren Dean Flandez as well as a time of worship with London-based band We Are Worshipers. Come be refreshed with fellow Christian music fans on this night of music and meaning.

Brian Doerksen
2019 JUNO nominated artist

Brian Doerksen is a songwriter and recording artist from Abbotsford, B.C., whose worship songs like “Faithful One” and “Come, now is the time to worship” are sung in faith communities around the world. In 2008, Brian received a JUNO Award for his album Holy God and in 2014 received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Gospel Music Association of Canada.

Warren Dean Flandez is a Canadian singer from Vancouver, B.C., who describes his music simply as “songs with purpose.” With an album that debuted at #1 on the iTunes Inspirational Charts Top 100, Warren has rediscovered his gospel roots and is creating inspiring music with his newest full-length album Speak. His album Speak is a soulfully charged, urban-infused record, which is not only inspirational but also accessible to mainstream audiences.

We Are Worshipers is a group of worship leaders from across London, Ontario, whose passion is to build unity between churches by lifting high the name of Jesus together with Christians around the city! They have led worship for events at churches like North Park Community Church and Forest City Community Church.
