Bequest
A Bequest is a gift you leave to Compassion in your Will. Bequests are vital to the work of Compassion as they help us plan for future strategic long-term projects including funding complementary intervention projects. Making a gift to Compassion in your Will is your opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the lives of children in poverty around the world.
Why should I create a Will? It is good stewardship. If you die without a will, your assets are distributed according to provincial laws, and you have no control over the distribution. You cannot adequately protect your loved ones and your dependants without a will.

How Does It Work?
It's Easy to Make a Gift Through Your Will. After caring for your loved ones, you can give to the organizations and ministries you support. Sample bequest statements are available to you from Compassion to take to your professional advisor when writing or revising your will.
