Let us pray today for Compassion's Complementary Interventions Program to expand that many more child development projects will have clean water solutions. |
| July 02 | Eph 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Pray for Compassion workers as they invest into children's lives. Pray that they will be able to provide the support the children need to grow into strong, fulfilled Christian adults. |
| July 03 | In many rural areas of the Dominican Republic, it is not uncommon to find poorly constructed roads that are difficult to use, lack of water supplies and access, and large families living together in poorly constructed homes made from scraps of wood and corrugated tin. Please pray for children in rural areas. Pray that their families would be able to find the means to send them to school. |
| July 04 | Psalm 8:2 "From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise…" Pray that our Lord and Saviour would keep the hearts of children in Compassion Ecuador’s child development program tender and sincere that they may believe and trust Him and know His great love for them. |
Compassion's Commitment to Prayer
Your prayers have an eternal impact for the health, safety, education and spiritual development of your child. Sponsored children are greatly encouraged to hear that their sponsors are praying for them. Remember that your sponsored child most likely prays for you, too.
Compassion is ministering to over one million children in 25 countries of the world. There are about 160,000 children at any given time waiting for a sponsor. Our prayer is that even in these times of economic uncertainty, sponsors would stay steadfast in their commitment to help a child in poverty; and that even more people would begin reaching out to help the “least of these” in their trouble.
