Manager of Finance

In the area of finance and accounting, we have implemented innovative solutions to manage donations and expenditures, applying technology and a practical approach as tools in our fight against poverty.

We have an opening in our organization, and are looking to hire a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will have a key impact on our commitment to create a team that is dedicated to stewardship, effectiveness and efficiency. We hope to find someone that is excited by process improvement and innovation in budgeting and reporting. If that is you, know this – you will be expected to help fellow leaders across the organization to learn and use budgeting and reporting as practical tools in stewarding the resources entrusted to them – to have the greatest impact on releasing more children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Position: Finance Manager (37.5hr/wk)
Department: Business Services Group
Salary: TBD + Benefits
Location: Head office located in London, Ontario.

The Finance Manager should have the CPA designation and a post secondary degree in business/finance/accounting. It is desirable that the candidate also have at least 5 years accounting experience in the corporate or charitable sector.

Skills required:

  • Experience in finance and business management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Honesty and integrity – ability to be discreet and confidential.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
  • Ability to train others in financial management and budgetary controls.
