Can I work for Compassion in another part of the world?

Last Updated: March 19, 2013 10:49 am

We appreciate your desire to help. Employees in Compassion field offices are generally nationals of that country or region. Compassion projects are administered and run by a local church on the field. As a result the workers and volunteers are recruited from within the indigenous Christian community. This enables the church to build upon their relationships with the children, their families and the wider communities. Local staff is ideal in that they speak the local language and share the culture of the community.
