Compassion’s policy is to not inform children of a potential visit until everything is confirmed on both sides and a sponsor has arrived in country, to minimize the chance of disappointment if plans change. However, it is possible that a child might inadvertently become aware of the visit as our field staff are checking with local staff members, parents, etc. to make arrangements for the visit.
