Music captivates the mind and touches the heart like nothing else. That’s why Compassion partners with a diverse group of musicians and speakers—we call them our ambassadors—who use their time and talents to bless congregations across Canada in their worship gatherings.
Using their gifts to connect the head and heart in praise to God, Compassion ambassadors will open the eyes of your congregation to the realities of poverty and invite them to take action by sponsoring with Compassion.

Jacob Moon is known for his giftedness as a singer, song-writer of award-winning pop and folk songs. He is also a master of the art of “live-looping,” a performance style where he records what he’s playing in real time and layers sound on sound to make one guitar sound like an orchestra. He has received accolades from Rush, Ron Sexsmith and Queen for his unique and compelling live show. Jacob has been following his life-long dream as a full-time musician, playing across North America. He has been a long-time Compassion Artist and after he and his wife Alison spent time in El Salvador with Compassion a few years ago and meeting their sponsor child, he was inspired to write the poignant song “Sara,” and continues to share how sponsoring a child with Compassion doesn’t just change the life of the child, but your own as well.
