Today is World Malaria Day. According to the World Health Organization, malaria caused approximately 438,000 deaths last year alone, mostly among African children—despite being preventable and curable. Pray for our church partners as they work to educate and aid their communities in malaria prevention. Pray also for the children in our care who are sick with malaria.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. (Psalm 91:2-3)
