Today is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Praise God for how many fewer people are in poverty today than 15 years ago. Pray more and more people will escape extreme poverty in the next 15 years.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. (Proverbs 31:8-9)
