On August 14th, 2021, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the southwestern part of Haiti and significantly impacted the lives of children and their families living there. The devastation of this disaster is extensive and the recovery is ongoing, but our local church partners have identified the most pressing needs for children: rebuilding or repairing the 12,000 homes that were destroyed or damaged and supporting children through the trauma they’ve experienced. This gift provides safe homes and trauma counselling for children in Haiti.
