Compassion Sunday is a day where people like you share the life-changing work of releasing children from poverty with their churches.
Host a Compassion Sunday event to advocate for children and give your church family a chance to live out their faith by sponsoring a child experiencing poverty.
What is Compassion Sunday
What is Compassion Sunday? - On Compassion Sunday, people just like you all over Canada are equipped and empowered to share their passion for seeing children released from poverty in Jesus’ name. During a Compassion Sunday event, a host will generally:
- Give an announcement or short testimony about their Compassion sponsorship experience - your “why” behind why you sponsor with Compassion.
- Share a short video highlighting the hope a sponsor can bring to a child’s life.
- Invite members of the congregation to sponsor a child.
