Continue to pray for a peaceful resolution to civil unrest in Potosi, Bolivia. On July 30th, those on strike took a brief respite to allow residents to buy food and supplies. The six Compassion centres in this area were also able to provide food and relief items to the children in their care. The strike has since continued and access to food and transportation is once again restricted.
First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. (1 Timothy 2:1)
