In Tanzania, families facing poverty often lack access to adequate sanitation and safe housing, creating challenges for their health, safety, privacy and well-being that can hinder a child’s holistic development. Improving sanitation facilities and housing helps protect children and their caregivers, supporting their dignity, security and overall well-being. 

Your gift will invest in the future of 38 households by improving sanitation and housing conditions. Over nine months, hygienic toilet facilities will be constructed for 24 households, reducing the risk of sanitation-related diseases and increasing privacy. Critical shelter improvements will help equip 14 households to thrive in a safe home, better protecting families from the elements. This helps ensure that children have a solid foundation for their educational and physical development.
